CASA of Baltimore's Mission
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Baltimore recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers appointed to individual foster children by the Baltimore City Juvenile Court to provide written, objective recommendations to the Court, to serve as a consistent adult presence, and to monitor that child's well-being.
CASA of Baltimore's Vision
CASA of Baltimore commits itself to providing a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA volunteer) to every Baltimore City foster child.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers who are appointed by a Judge to provide a consistent and caring adult to ensure that their assigned child's educational, medical, social service and mental health needs are understood, that the Court hears what is in the child's best interest, and that these children have hope for the future.
With inaction we set these children up for failure.
With action, we make a difference in their lives.
